No Videogames But 3D From Netflix
If you are quite the active user of Netflix, you may remember that the company was facing a split in which would have made Netflix solely a video streaming service and Qwikster in charge of DVDs and video game rentals. However, that split did not happen and Qwikster never really took off.
Unfortunately, the Qwikster service was finally put to rest in a statement given by Netflix CEO Reed Hastings. The upside to this is that the streaming of 3D video is being looked into. Qwikster could have worked itself to becoming an alternative to other services such as Gamefly and Blockbuster. (Wasn't the latter supposed to be bankrupt anyhows?)
What would you think of Qwikster, if it were to become something?
